Name: China mainland, Japan + South Korea travel eSIM
Brand: BilbyMobile
Availability: InStock

Question 1

Does the China mainland, Japan + South Korea eSIM work on my phone?

Accepted Answer

It works on eSIM-capable, carrier-unlocked phones — most iPhones from the XR/11 onwards, Google Pixel 3 and newer, and recent Samsung Galaxy S, Z and some A models. Dial *#06#: if you see an EID, your phone supports eSIM. Our store runs this check before you pay.

Question 2

When does my China mainland, Japan + South Korea plan start?

Accepted Answer

Validity starts when the eSIM first connects to a network in the destination — not when you buy. You can buy and install it days before you fly.

Question 3

How do I install it?

Accepted Answer

Your QR code arrives by email within minutes of payment and is also shown on your order page. Scan it at home on Wi-Fi (Settings → Mobile/Cellular → Add eSIM), then switch the eSIM on and enable data roaming for it when you land.

Question 4

Is there a phone number?

Accepted Answer

No — these are data-only plans. Keep your home SIM active for calls and SMS if you need them; use WhatsApp, iMessage or FaceTime over data.

Question 5

What is the refund policy?

Accepted Answer

Our refund terms are set out at bilbymobile.com/refunds. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not affected.
